Description
This is the new, larger version of the popular All Season Solar Cooker. The “Camper” is large enough to hold a turkey roaster and powerful enough to roast that turkey just as well as your indoor oven.
Since this is a panel type cooker, there is no limit to the dimension of pot that you use. Two large pots, 12″ frypans, oblong cake pans, tall pots… they all fit. The cooking area is 12″ deep and 17″ wide. There is no height limit in the cooking area so just about any type of pot will fit!

Introducing the 2017 All Season Solar Cooker
Here is the newest All Season Solar Cooker. Same great features as before, but now with a larger cooking area. 17 inches by 12 inches for the “Camper” model.
Same great functions, same great portability, same great compact folding and same great wind resistance.
Perfectly Captures the Sun from Horizon to Horizon
No other solar cooker can do this.
The photo on the left shows the All Season Solar Cooker Camper in its full down position. The sunsight is pointed directly at the horizon. in this position the ASSC Camper captures the first morning light or the last afternoon sunshine.
The photo on the right shows the ASSC Camper in its full up position. The sunsight points straight up, perfectly capturing the sun when it is directly over head.
These are the two extreme positions. The ASSC Camper can adjust to any angle between these two. Perfectly capturing the sun at any elevation.
This adjustability allows the user to cook any time of day that the sun is shining (Not just from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. like most other solar cookers)
On a day with 12 hours of sunshine, you get 12 hours of solar cooking.
Bigger Cooking Area Means More Cooking
Image on the left shows the All Season Solar Cooker Camper (ASSC Camper) holding two cooking pots (not supplied). Each pot has a capacity of about one gallon.
Image on the right shows the new model holding a turkey roaster (not supplied).
Since the ASSC Camper does not use a door, but rather a cooking bag (included) it will hold these large pots – and many other shapes – without restriction
The capacity is undiminished – regardless of the adjustment of the reflector array.
No other solar cooker can do this.
Our Unique sighting device (Sunsight) takes the Guesswork Out of Focusing
This is the Sunsight.
This simple pin and block assembly helps the user to perfectly focus on the sun. When the pin has no shadow (photo on the left) the cooker is perfectly focused on the sun.
For longer cooking durations, turn the cooker ahead of the sun. The photo on the right shows the cooker with the sunsight aimed ahead of the sun’s path. The cooker has been turned ahead of the sun and the reflector array has been moved upward to track the sun as crosses the sky.
This orientation gives about two hours of excellent cooking without the need to move the cooker.
For afternoon cooking, the shadow is adjusted ahead of the sun, as shown, but instead of going upward, the shadow should go downward as the sun begins its decent.
